Sometimes, you just need a great staple to finish off a room. This drop-leaf table is the perfect example: classic. Not only is it the traditional size and exhibits lovely markings, but the side drawer component is fantastic for storing so many sundries from candles and matches to light bulbs and batteries. I also like the casters allowing for easy mobility from space to space. The dimensions are 27.5″ high and 33″ long. It’s 20″ wide with the leaves down and 37.25″ with the leaves extended. This is surely a “must have” for anyone in the market for such an item. I personally have two, which were inherited, and I have found them to be invaluable.

Yesterday’s headboards were sweet and whimsical whereas today, we skip to gorgeous and chic! What’s not to adore about this stunner. In the market for some great fabric without the steep price? Then look no farther than Darien’s own Consignment Girl. This Schumacher piece offered is from the Hampton Diamond Court collection in Brick. The fabric is 100% cotton and produced in India. According to the Schumacher website the design inspiration is as follows: “This small scaled geometric cotton weave has the look of an embroidered fabric with its raised stitch effect.” The repeat is straight, width is 53″, horizontal repeat is 0.875, and the vertical repeat is 1″. You name the price on this one and it’s yours! It just may be the ideal something you need to recreate an old chair or freshen up a sofa or window seat with fun pillows.

Check out these Bungalow5 barstools! I’m a huge fan of this chic company and the quality of their products. These stools are from the Hampton Collection and are a gorgeous gray limed solid Oak with linen seat cushions. The dimensions are 17 x 21 x 46H. All three are brand new, but did not work for the client, unfortunately. Each is selling for $500,$1,500 for the lot. A fourth one may be purchased from the Bungalow5 site, but they retail for $700. This Lillian August urn is time less and could be a warm addition to any room filled with lush arrangements. The Chinese red and gold fit well with any season, but if you’re not in the market for such a piece, what an interesting housewarming or hostess gift this would make. The etching is well done and the vibrancy is amazing, which is not reflected in the photo. It’s dynamite in person; a must see if interested. It’s 12″H and quite the steal at $75.
